It's a type of wine and I gather that the colour itself was derived from the colour of this wine.

The top colours they (Pantone) have stated in reverse order:
Aquamarine in it's lightest shade
Scuba blue which is turquoise
Lucite green just think hospital scrubs
Classic blue is almost a jean blue, think the blues and that's the colour
Toasted almond is a beige brown colour, similar to blush
Strawberry ice is a dusty pink frosting colour. Best way to describe it
Tangerine is a muted orange close to peach. The opposite of lucite green
Custard is a light yellow with greys
Glacier grey well this was actually the last "colour" and it's light grey nothing much to say about it besides it has pink tones
Last but not least Marsala...the red of the year, a red-brown colour that is perfect for an accessory or an entire dress. Flattering on most skintones but not easily acquired, perhaps in this year we will be able to snag some pieces in this colour.
