Tobago for a day!

My long anticipated Tobago party is coming up. Excited to go since I can't remember the last time I went tuhbaygo :D Sister isle to Trinidad I'm coming soon! 

Even though I'm staying for a day packing has already begun. Gotta have everything for a trip regardless of how small. At least 3 outfits for a day ;) and all the essentials(separate post)

Price: Finally not an impulse buy aha. $195TT from Shoeaholics. So I did see these online for $15US so I think shoeaholics had a great price :) 

Fit: the front was cutting into my toe a little but I just put tape on the inside and it stopped hurting. 

Standing time: 3hrs before my feet started to hurt. 

Quality: good not fantastic but I did get some dings at the back by the end of the night since I was wild. >.<

I love Bamboo the brand cuz it's so affordable and comfy. One of the better brands for the Recessionista.

Shopping on a whim (rant)

So I went shopping yesterday and came back with nothing... 

Apart from a crimson textured pencil skirt, that was a size too big and had a lil pull. I saw not a thing I wanted.  Usually I buy at least one thing but for some reason nothing really appealed to me. 

This brings me to my thoughts about outlet stores in Trinidad.  They rarely have  extraordinary pieces or anything different from the norm. I usually diggg to find the few unique pieces I have from some of the chain outlets. 

Shopping isn't horrible here just for those willing to pay $400TT for a shoe that sells for $25US. I just can't, sorry. That's why it's important to know the good brands from the lower end brands and know what you're paying for. I can't agree with a seller making 200% profit on my head :(

The name of the blog was hard to come up with as I already use "riveting" in most of my online usernames so I decided to use it again. The hard part was finding another word beginning with "r" that went with well it. Reprise is perfect (more about it in another post!)
